Official geology, hydrology, flora and fauna studies being undertaken at present for Logan City Council are largely funded by Stocklands, a stakeholder development company. While Council decided to fund their own environmental studies, the environmental consultant company was granted access to only limited areas of a few properties, and were conducted over an unsatisfactorily short period of time. Unsurprisingly, Council environmental studies have not revealed the true values of Bahrs Scrub.

The Save Bahrs Scrub Alliance urgently needs funds to commission our own independent flora and fauna studies to inform Council and State decisions about Bahrs Scrub.
